Block after block of ice is needed to make the masterpiece that is a cone of shave ice. Looks may be deceiving, one little mistake or one small movement could cause the whole cone to break off, shattering on the floor. Every thursday of every week a truck comes bringing all the ice needed for the weeks demand. The ice is stored in the back of the store where it awaits its turn to be molded on the special shaving machines from a block of hard ice to a delicacy layered with different syrups and toppings and served to the awaiting costumers who know it as shave ice.
