  • Ernest Young, born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, got into art at an early age. He began drawing when he was 8 years old, and not long after, he picked up his first paintbrush.

  • Surrounded by the immense beauty in the nature of Hawaii, he gets inspired by the landscape he lives in. Sketching comic book characters at an early age is where Ernest first discovered that he loved art. His father encouraged him to keep making comics. When he started working in the restaurant industry, he was able to keep sketching to use his creativity.
